Baby Bounce (Under 2s)

Event Details

This event is running from 27 June 2018 until 3 June 2020. It is next occurring on May 27, 2020 11:15 AM

If you have a baby, you can come to our baby bounce and rhyme sessions.

Our libraries share nursery rhymes and songs with families and babies for around 30 minutes every week. We also run storytime sessions for pre-school children.

What we do

One of our librarians leads the singing. Some libraries have rattles and musical instruments for the children. It’s free to join and you don’t have to book a place.

We welcome older siblings too.

How bounce and rhyme helps

Singing rhymes with babies helps:

  • language development
  • bonding between parent or carer and child
  • children’s understanding of the world around them

For more information, and to join a baby bounce and rhyme session, contact your local library.
