This Pilates class is taught by an experienced physiotherapist and places emphasis on precise functional movements. It is very different to the ‘fitness style’ Pilates found in most gyms.
Benefits of this class include: improved posture, increased strength and flexibility, a balanced body that is less prone to injury, and increased well being.
There is strong evidence to show that properly taught Pilates can decrease back pain, improve bone density and reduce the risk of sports type injuries.
