BS10 6AT Bristol
United Kingdom
Job Type:

Could you help a local hospice continue to care for adults with life-limiting illnesses? Would you be able to help at your local charity shop? St Peter’s Hospice charity shop is searching for volunteers to support their shop on Arnside. Volunteers will help us raise vital funds needed provide physical, psychological and spiritual care for our patients in their own homes as well as at the Hospice.

What will I do?  You will help serve customers, sort donations and dress displays. You will work with a team of other volunteers, supporting the shop to be friendly and welcoming.

Why should I do it? Our shops help us provide amazing care and support for patients and families – without our volunteers we wouldn’t be able to raise the money needed to continue our work. You can gain great experience working in retail, with other team members and serving customers.

Who should I be? You should be a friendly person with an eye for detail. Most of our volunteers will be able to do some cash handling but if this is not up your street there is always a place for you on the team helping the shop look its best. If you have experience in Books, Jewellery or Homeware we’d love you to share your skills.

Where will I be? Our local shop is on 7 Arnside Road, Southmead, Bristol BS10 6AT. We have shops all over the city though so if you want to meet new people, you can find more shops at

When do you need me? Anytime during shop opening hours (between 9am-5pm, Mon-Sat). Most volunteers spend at least 4hours a week with us and we’d try to work around what is best for you.

Anything else I should know… You’d be part of a great team who would love new members!

How do I sign up!  Get in contact with the shop directly by popping in to visit or calling on 0117 950 8200. You can also see other volunteering options by looking at our website here
