What’s On in Badock’s Wood in May


Fri 11th May - 11.00 a.m.
Community Routes walk - Westbury-on-Trym to Greenway Cafe via a circuit of Badock's Wood (and back to WoT for those who want to be escorted back after a break). Please remember to bring some money to buy your refreshments. Meet outside Co-op Food, Canford Lane, Westbury-on-Trym.

Join Friends of Badock’s Wood’s Bird Group for a bird watching stroll around Badock’s Wood. The Group monitors which birds live in or visit Badock’s Wood. We are a group of enthusiastic amateurs willing to share our knowledge with visitors to Badock’s Wood. Meet at Northern Gateway.

Sun 20th May - 2.00 - 3.30 p.m.
Badock’s Wood’s Hidden Treasures. Led by Frances Robertson, from FOBW. A general introduction to the wood and its wildlife and visit our sculptures. Meet at Northern Gateway.

Sun 27th May - 2.00 - 3.30 p.m.
Bugs & Butterflies Guided Walk. Led by the Bristol Naturalists’ Society. Activity will be on the meadows in longish grass. Please wear suitable footwear and clothing. Meet at Northern Gateway.
